What is a "waterless car wash"?

A “waterless car wash”? What is that? How is that possible? How can you wash a car with no water? We get these questions all the time from clients and on lookers. I’m going to give you a bit of an insight and answer into each. Let’s start with the word “Waterless”
The word “Waterless” will confuse most. Some companies who use “Waterless car wash products” say they use no water is used to wash the vehicle. What they really mean, and how we explain it, ”less water” is used to wash the exterior vehicle. The solutions need to be mixed with water so it can be used. So again “waterless” means “less water” not “no water”!
The industry could use the term “Less water car wash” but hey, that doesn’t sound cool! I can’t image our team walking around telling people we are a “less water” car wash…Ha ha! The word “Waterless” just sounds cooler and yes, we want to be cool!
So again, no hose, no bucket = less water. We will continue to explain more in out next blog… Oh yea, once when we were explaining how we use a waterless method to detail a car, the customer asked us if we don’t use water then what do we use? he then said “pee?”…now that’s not cool…
